Hot Shop Date Night Glass Class

You and a partner will each create a hand blown glass project in this 45 minute date night class. You will be introduced to the hotshop and basic glass blowing techniques. You will make a pint glass, stemless wine glass or other basic project. You can bring some snacks and your own beverage to enjoy in the studio after the class is completed. Please note that your project will not be available for pick up until the day after your class. If you want to double date, book two back to back classes!

Glass Enamel Decal Class

Wednesday, April 2nd, 6-8:30pm
Class Fee: 50.00
Learn how to use the torch to fuse glass to metal! Working on copper, you will learn the basics of how the enamel medium works and how to fuse glass using a torch. You will learn about metal preparation, enamel application and working with enamel decals to make a custom necklace. The class is 2.5 hour class.

Torch-Fired Glass Bead Class

Sunday, April 6th, 2025
Cost - $185.00 (lunch provided with class).
Join guest instructor Julie Lukosaitis at artPOP and learn how to make custom glass beads. In this torch-fired glass class, you will learn how to heat glass to make different shaped beads and pull stringers for making designs and details on your beads. Several techniques are covered in class. You will choose your own colors of glass for your projects, choosing from a variety of transparent and opaque colors. Everyone will make 8-12 beads in a one day class.
Each day, class runs from 9am-3pm with an optional hour to make jewelry or functional bead items with beads made in class. Optional session is from 3:00-4:00pm. Jewelry findings and other materials available will be provided by instructor for additional fee.
